Power Computing
Eventually acquired by Apple Computer, Power Computing was the first and most successful of the Macintosh clone manufacturers. In late July of 1997 Power Computing launched a new advertising campaign based on a grunge look and the slogan “Beat the Machine”. The company needed its web site to match that look and feel, but also to be clear and functional. Also, it had to be online for MacWorld in August of that year. I contributed to the successful creation and implementation of the redesign in less than two weeks. An archived version of the site can be found here.
